After capturing the lead on lap six Michael Brown of Pageland, South Carolina held on to capture the victory in the 45th Annual Gaston County “Shrine 100” Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event at Carolina Speedway Wednesday worth $3,000. This marked Browns first career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series. Zack Mitchell, Ben Watkins, Ross Bailes, and Jonathan Edwards rounded out the top five finishers. Johnny Pursley set fast time in qualifying with a time of 15.553 seconds.
