This Friday Chad Kemenah will make his return to the Jackson Speedway located in Jackson, Minnesota. It has been three years since Kemenah and the World of Outlaws have raced on the big half mile in Southern Minnesota and Kemenah is anxious to get things going in the right direction with the “Month of Money” just around the corner.
“The last time we raced in Jackson we tore up some stuff and did not have a good showing,” says Kemenah. “Last weekend was a tough one for us but it is all done and over with and we are looking forward to racing at Jackson this Friday night. Right now we just need to be consistent from qualifying to the feature and if we can do that the wins will come our way sooner or later.”
On Saturday night Kemenah will be in action at the Knoxville Raceway for the second time in 2013. Back in early May the Alvada, Ohio driver was running in the 10th position for most of the feature but the set up went away on the car during the final stages of the feature and that dropped Kemenah back to the 15th position when everything was all said and done.
“The Knoxville Raceway has been an interesting place for us to race the past few seasons,” said Kemenah. “I have always liked racing in Knoxville and we need to have a good race because the Knoxville Nationals are going to be here soon and this is the last time we race here until August, I know we have what it takes to get the job done and we just have to go out there hit our marks and stay out of trouble. I would love to get a win at the “Sprint Car Capital of the World” because it is a very difficult track to win at but I know if things go our way this Hampshire Racing Engines, MS Motorsports, Maxim Chassis, Champion Racing Oil, K&N Filters and Radio Hospital No.63 car is capable of anything.”
Every race is a big race right now not only for Kemenah but every World of Outlaws driver. Kemenah is sitting in the 10th position in the Driver Standings with eight top five finishes and ten top ten finishes. Kemenah has also picked up two quick time awards so far in 2013 and with a solid weekend of racing Kemenah can move into the ninth place in the point standings.
