Located outside Sarver, Pennsylvania, 43 drivers signed in to do battle at the 4/10-mile where Dollansky registered the 29th fastest lap in qualifying at 13.343 seconds. In a bit of a hole for the race program, the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim lined up eighth on the grid for heat one and finished 7th. Missing a transfer position meant Dollansky would have to run the B-Main where the Elk River, Minnesota native ran over debris on the final lap and slowed to a stop when the checkered flag waved.
Forced to use a provisional to tag the end of the first A-Main, the MobileStar #7 lined up inside row thirteen and ran twenty-first before the first caution on lap 10. Battling a fast and narrow racing surface, Dollansky gained three more spots in the next ten circuits and one additional position as the laps wound down taking the checkered flag in 17th.
With lead-lap cars inverted for the second 30-lap A-Main, the Elk River, Minnesota native took the green from inside the second row. Following a yellow on the second lap, Dollansky and Cody Darrah dove low and high powering around David Gravel and then set sail on leader Jason Sides. As ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ narrowed the gap on the top two, the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products backed sprinter endured a long stretch of green flag competition until dropping to sixth before a caution on lap 27. Following a yellow and red flag with three laps remaining, contact with another competitor on the ensuing restart sent Dollansky spinning and relegated the Big Game Treestands #7 to a 12th place finish.
The Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team will now travel to Williams Grove Speedway for the Summer Nationals getting underway this Friday, July 19th.
