“Downforce Designs has really taken off and I’m ready for the next step, which is Downforce Clothing,” he said. “It’s a Washington State based clothing brand formed through auto racing with a passion for distinction and innovation in design and lifestyle.”
Downforce Clothing will debut at the premier sprint car event of the year – the 53rd annual FVP Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, Aug. 7-10. The company will have a tent in the infield housing a variety of men’s and women’s t-shirts. With every t-shirt purchased, a fan will receive a free koozie.
“It’s the biggest sprint car race of the year hands down,” Wheatley said. “You get the best racers and the best fans in the world to see the best racing. It’s a chance to get everybody into one spot. We’re excited to introduce Downforce Clothing to so many eyes.”
The tent will also have a portfolio of the company’s work as well as some special Knoxville Nationals shirts. Men’s shirts range from adult small through XXX-L and women’s from small through XL.
“I’m excited to showcase the Downforce Clothing lifestyle shirts,” Wheatley said. “This is the first real push I’ve done for it. Hopefully a lot of people will stop by the tent.”
