10.24.15 Carolina Clash Late Models Results

Chris Madden of Gray Court, South Carolina took home the victory Saturday night October 24th in the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event at Cherokee Speedway. The event was the “25th Annual Blue Gray 100” worth $12,000 to win. After starting fifth Madden took the lead from Don O’Neal on lap 84. Don O’Neal, Johnny Pursley, Dennis Franklin, and Ben Watkins rounded out the top five finishers. Chris Ferguson set fast time in qualifying with a time of 14.654 seconds. Heat race winners included Ross Bailes, Don O’Neal, and Jay Sessoms. As the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series 2015 race season concluded at the Blue Gray 100 Ben Watkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina was crowned the 2015 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series Champion. Watkins finished the season with 1877 points over second place finisher in the standings Doug Sanders who finished the season with 1630 points.
