Gas City, Indiana (October 5, 2019)………Alex Watson wired all 25 laps to snag Saturday’s USAC Midwest Thunder Speed2 Midget season finale at Indiana’s Gas City I-69 Speedway.
Watson (Columbus, Ohio) was dominant from start-to-finish in earning his second series victory of the year ahead of second-place finisher Cody Beard (Huntingburg, Ind.).
Meanwhile, by virtue of a 3rd place finish, Aaron Leffel (Springfield, Ohio) locked up his third consecutive series championship by 22 points over fourth-place finisher Stratton Briggs (Anna, Ohio) while Nate Foster (Greenwood, Ind.) rounded out the top-five.
