Ben Watkins Scores Carolina Clash Victory At Lancaster Motor Speedway

Lancaster, South Carolina (11/18/23) – The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to “The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South” Lancaster Motor Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina on Saturday November 18th for the “Palmetto State 50” event paying $10,000 to win. The event was co-sanctioned with the Valvoline Ironman Series.

Ben Watkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina captured the lead late in the race from race leader Donald Mcintosh to score his twelfth career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series worth $10,000. Donald Mcintosh, Adam Yarbrough, Daulton Wilson, and Benji Hicks rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Christian Thomas with a time of 19.177 seconds. The hard Charger of the event was Benji Hicks (Started 10th / Finished 5th).
