This past Saturday we went to Senoia Raceway for the final round of the KRC Power Steering Triple Crown Presented by Lee’s Tree Service and Jeff Smith Racing. Not only was it the last round of the Triple Crown we also decided the points battle and the Commercial Dock and Door Rookie of the Year. Booger Brooks sat fast time in his group and picked up an extra $100 from Harrison Fabrication for his efforts.
Dustin Diem, Conner Younginer and Dan Meadows won their respected heats. Diem won his after some hard racing. Younginer had to fight to get his heat win and Meadows dominated his heat with over a straightaway lead at the checkers.

Matt Steward and Booger Brooks lead the field to green for the 40 lap feature. Brooks would get the lead and begin to pull away as the rest of the field would fan out and began to race on the whole surface. The first caution came out on lap 15 for a slowing car in turn 3-4. This would be the start of string of caution over the next 10 laps involving several cars. The field went single file on lap 26 and went green for the remainder of the feature. Brooks only had serious pressure on restarts and when the field approached lap traffic. Brooks picked up his 4th Red Clay Series win for the year.
