Local area racer David Harwood (#25) of Rainsville picked up the hardware which included cash and prizes of over $1,000, last weekend during the BAMA BRAWL, earning the UCRA 602/Sportsman 6-race mini series championship at Fort Payne Motor Speedway for 2019. Hardwood raced all six events at his home track piloting his “Santa Fe of Fort Payne, Guffey Wrecker Service” sponsored racecar to a couple runner up finishes, without finishing outside of the Top 5 in any UCRA 602/Sportsman race the entire season. Harwood collected his championship trophy, check and Hoosier Tire custom jacket enroute to a Top 10 finish in Sunday’s BAMA BRAWL Round #1 of the 2020 UCRA 602/Sportsman season.
