MCCREADIE SWEEPS BEDFORD WoO FIELD

The World of Outlaws Late Model tour made their annual visit to Bedford Sunday night and it turned into the Tim McCreadie show as he dominated the event. The win for McCreadie was his first ever Bedford win and worth a cool $20,000 In other action, Trent Yoder rallied late to win the Super Sportsman event which was run wingless.
McCreadie won his heat then grabbed the pole in the World of Outlaws redraw. He got the jump on the field at the start and never looked back. Fellow front row starter Bobby Pierce took up the chase but McCreadie was pulling ahead with every lap.
By the time of the first (and only) caution in the 40 lapper on lap 17, McCreadie had a huge lead over the field. By that time Dustin Sorenson had emerged in third but he and Pierce watched as McCreadie zoomed away on the restart and easily led to the finish.
Although the first 5 cars strung out, the action in the pack was heavy as positions switched every lap. but McCreadie was never challenged at the front. Although slowed in by lapped traffic over the last two laps, McCreadie crossed the line two seconds ahead of Pierce who was almost that ahead of Sorenson at the finish. Ryan Gustin and Nick Hoffman came from 8th and 9th to complete the top 5.
Earlier qualifying heats were won by Pierce, McCreadie, Brian Shirley and Sorenson. Max Blair and Ethan Dotson won the twin B mains.
Trent Yoder started third in the wingless Sportsman event and after an early battle moved into the lead. After that he easily ran off ahead of Tony Jackson and Steve Wilbur who finished in that order behind him. That 20 lapper went all green to the finish. The Sportsman cars also ran a heat race which was won by Jackson.
