5.19.18 Sooner Late Model Series Results

By John Rittenoure – GREENVILLE, Texas (May 19, 2018) – The Sooner Late Model Series made its first trip to Texas and the Super Bowl Speedway on Saturday night and it is one trip Steven Hawkins will not forget.
Hawkins, who started 7th in the 15-car feature field, charged his way to the front and held on to win his first career Sooner Late Model Series feature. Hawkins was chased to the checkered by Nate Jantz who finished in the runner-up spot for the second straight night. Series points leader Eddie Tidwell finished third, Friday night winner Kip Hughes was fourth with Gary Lowe picking up fifth.
