JAMAICA, VA – The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance returned to Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway on Saturday June 15th for the “43rd Annual USA 100”. The FASTRAK Racing Series program of the “USA 100” paid $3,000 to win.
29 of the best Pro Late Model drivers in the country entered Saturdays FASTRAK Racing Series Tour event at Virginia Motor Speedway.
Current FASTRAK Tour points leader Carson Ferguson of Charlotte, North Carolina inherited the lead from Layton Sullivan on the final lap of the 40 lap event to score his third straight FASTRAK Racing Series Tour victory and earn the “USA 100” FASTRAK win. Trevor Feathers, Layton Sullivan, Corey Almond, and Ryan Adams rounded out the top five finishers. Jensen Ford set fast time in qualifying with a time of 18.949 seconds. Heat race winners included Jensen Ford, Justin Williams, Corey Almond, and Logan Roberson.
The next events on the FASTRAK Racing Series schedule include Friday July 12th at I-77 Speedway located in Ripley, West Virginia and Saturday July 13th at Tyler County Speedway located in Middlebourne, West Virginia for the “Great American Crate Race”.
