Matt Long And Adam Yarbrough Score Carolina Clash Victories At Friendship Motor Speedway

Elkin, North Carolina (6/18/22) – The Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to Friendship Motor Speedway located in Elkin, North Carolina on Saturday June 18th for a pair of 25 lap events paying $2,500 to win each. The event was a part of the “4th Annual Donald Tucker Memorial”.

In the first Twin 25 lap feature Matt Long of Concord, North Carolina raced his way from the third starting spot to score his first career Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series victory. Gray Parton, Adam Yarbrough, Tim Vance, and Doug Sanders rounded out the top five finishers.

In the second Twin 25 lap feature Adam Yarbrough of Denver, North Carolina scored his second career Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series victory holding off 2021 Carolina Clash Champion Michael Brown as the race concluded. Michael Brown, Matt Long, Doug Sanders, and John Price rounded out the top five finishers.

The Ponce Realty Group presented by Nick Whitesides fast qualifier for the event was was Gray Parton.
