With a packed house, the 4-1-1 was ready to pay tribute to the late JT Kerr with the annual JT Kerr Memorial.

The 20 lap Sportsman feature would kick us off and chaos was the name of the game. Jed Emert would lead us to green ahead of Seth Jolley, Joe Bray and Tim Bounds your top runners on the start. The caution would quickly wave as the #c11 of Roy Norwood and the #50 of Adam Mitchell would tangle in turn two. Eric Hux and Devin Cardwell would also have issues under the caution and see their nights ended early. Back under green and it was absolute chaos as a massive pileup on the restart blocked the entire track off turn four. The #77 of Jimmy Calloway, #73 of Ray Jarnigan, the #4 of Jacob Kelso were among those involved. After a lengthy cleanup, it was back to racing with Emert and Jolley looking to settle it amongst themselves. They quickly found themselves in lap traffic until a caution for Tiffany Hensley would slow the pace. Emert would hold on to pick up his first win of the year at the 4-1-1.

The 71 lap JT Kerr Memorial paying $10,000 was up next. Ricky Weiss and Mark Whitener would lead us to green ahead of four time Champion Cory Hedgecock, Mack McCarter and Hayden Cardwell making up the top five. Weiss was set on go early as he began to pull away from the field as the laps ticked off. Rusty Ballenger and Phillip Thompson had their own battle going as they tried to climb up into the top five. Hedgecock had found something as he had closed in on Whitener for the runner up spot. The leaders found themselves in heavy lap traffic by lap 11. The first caution would wave when Travis Fultz and Blake Craft got together sending Craft for a wild spin into the infield. Mack McCarter would pounce on the restart wrestling the second spot away from Hedgecock. He quickly chased down Weiss and took the lead on lap 25. Weiss had lost the handle on his machine and began to slip back eventually retiring later on short of the finish. McCarter was doing a great job keeping Hedgecock at bay until his #51 would slow with mechanical problems on lap 48. Hedgecock would run away with the lead and score his fifth JT Kerr Memorial win.

A very strong field of drivers were on hand for the street Stock feature. Brady Lee would show the way on the start with David Clark, Robbie Comer. Bobbie Petty and Josh Henry in chase. Clark has already scored multiple wins this season but tonight wouldn’t be his night as he slowed in the opening laps with engine problems. Comer had the second spot now and was all over Lee for the lead. Josh Henry had now worked his way past Petty and into the top three as he set his sights on the battle for the lead. Comer would get a run on the inside of Lee in turn two making contact. They’d tangle again on the exit as Comer went for a spin bringing out the caution. He’d have to head pit side to get a new left rear tire but would return at the tail of the field. The job wasn’t over for Brady Lee as he now had Josh Henry breathing down his neck for the top spot. The two would run the rest of the race in a tight fight for the win. Lee would hold on to pick up the win.

He’d restart on the tail but was on a charge to get back to the front. The #3 of Ivis Earley would go for two spins bringing out the cautions. Sise had now worked his way back into the top four and would get all the way back up to his runner up spot.
