KANSAS CITY, Kan. — June 30, 2012 — Sammy Swindell rocketed by leader Kraig Kinser on a restart early and then held on amid lightning at Lakeside Speedway.
Kinser maintained a close second the rest of the race, but was unable to record the victory. It would have been his fourth in the last nine Outlaws races.
Instead, Swindell added to his series-best six victories as a storm hit shortly after the checkered flag.
