7.18.20 United Championship Racing Alliance Results

Home track advantage is what Petross, TN racer Jake Teague (# 117) has at the Wartburg (TN) Speedway. Saturday night the inaugural United Championship Racing Alliance – UCRA champion (2015) went three for three in series competition, leading flag to flag the 40-lap feature presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil.

Teague won 2018’s Wartburg race and the 2016 debut for the series at the track. Teague started from the pole after setting Gresham Racing Parts fast time during qualifying. Leading Rookie of the Year contender Jason Cardwell of Knoxville finished second to Teague just ahead of current UCRA points leader Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland.

Elliott, the 2018 UCRA National Champion extends his current points lead over Kasey Hall who finished 9th overall. Kenny Kizzar of Soddy Daisy was 12th one lap down to the field. Other RotY contenders Jeremy Holtzclaw and Jeff Neubert sandwiched Kizzar at the finish.

Teague pocketed $2,600 for his efforts Saturday “sweeping” the event. Kids got a treat as UCRA regulars held an autograph session in the grandstands prior to the event, signing specialty hero cards.
