7.19.19 Lindas Speedway Results
Austin Graby might have started from the pole of Friday nights 125 micro sprint feature event, but his victory was no easy task. Graby had to negotiate through lapped traffic for much of the second half of the event holding on for his first win of the season. Marty Brian finished second after a hard fought battle with Justin Harrington (Who finished third). 2019 feature winners Mike Glass and Cliff Brian Jr were the top five finishers.
125 Micro Sprint heat races were won by Austin Graby and Marty Brian.
It’s been over a year since Scott Gingrich was in Victory Lane at Linda’s Speedway . Gingrich was injured in a work related accident that kept him out of racing for much of 2018. Gingrich jumped out front and withstood a mid-race charge from Mike Boyer to claim the victory. Boyer came from eighth to run second. Brandon Firestine rounded out the podium finishers. Devin Harron and TJ Greve were the top five at the checkered flag.
270 Micro Sprint heat wins went to Devin Harron, Scott Gingrich, and Mike Boyer.
One week ago Cody Manmiller had a feature win in sight, but was unable to be the first one to see the checkered flag. July 19th would tell a different story when Manmiller would pick up his first checkered flag of the season holding off various challenges from Kenny Harris in the closing laps. Harris was second ahead of Brian Blankenbiller, 14th starter Ty Hoke, and 13th place starter Mason Peters.
Kenny Harris and Cody Manmiller were Modified heat race winners.
The Chargers used every inch of the quarter mile in a tight race that saw only one caution flag early in the event at a mid race pass by one of the divisions most successful drivers to take his 1st win of the year period. Dale Kreiser moved by Troy Hostetter with a three wide move in traffic for the top spot. Kreiser would stay there for the win over his teammate. Darrel Wagner had a career night finishing third ahead of 12th place starter Chucky Kimmel and Don Stoudt in the top five.
Charger heat race wins went to Chris Cunnane, Chucky Kimmel, and Dale Kreiser.
Clayton Shaw might not have been the first pick that onlookers had for the Hyper racing Hoosier tire 600 micro sprint feature event on Friday night when the lineup was posted. Shaw was joined on row one by current point leader Jesse Maurer and followed by former Linda’s Speedway champion Dan Souder. Shall withstood a couple of restarts and a little bit of lap traffic to grab his first Linda Speedway victory. Maurer chased from second with Souder in third at the finish. Tommy Kunsman and Logan Spahr were the top five in the feature event.
600 Micro Sprint heat race checkered flags went to Brian Kramer and Jesse Maurer.
Linda’s Speedway is back in action next Friday, July 26th, with a show featuring the 270 micro sprints, 600 micro sprints, Slingshots, Chargers and restricted 600 micro sprints.
Don’t forget the first week in August is the second ever appearance of the Usac national Midget series as well as 600 Micro Sprint Speedweek. Friday August 2nd Linda’s Speedway will offer an all access pass for $25. The grandstands and the pit area will be $25 granting you a different option to see the racing from all ends for no added fee.

Gates open at 5:30 for weekly racing and practice starts at 7. Racing follows immediately after practice.
Linda’s Speedway admission to the grandstands continues to be $6 for adults (13 and over), $3 for ages 6-12, and 5 and under is free. Pit Admission or an all access pass to the pit area is available for $25.
In the event of rain, grandstand and pit passes will be honored unless qualifying is complete for the event, in which the features will be made up at a later time unless noted otherwise by speedway management. If an event is rained out and considered a complete cancelation, patrons may mail passes to the speedway with a self-addressed stamped envelope for a refund within 30 days of the event or their rain check will be good for free entry at one of the next two races.
