7.2.21 Red Clay Late Model Series Results

The Red Clay Series kicked off a double header weekend on Friday night at Boyd’s Speedway with the RaceDay Safety 30. Sixteen entries signed-in for the event.

With only one group qualifying, Booger Brooks set fast time with a time of 15.702. Jacob Parris was second quick with a time of 15.728.
Heat one saw Booger Brooks and Spencer Singleton on the front row. Brooks would take the lead going into turn one and not let it go. This put Brooks on the pole for the feature.

Heat two saw Jacob Parris and Cade Brookshire on the front row. Brookshire took the lead and picked up the win for heat two and earned the outside pole for the feature.

Brooks jumped out to a early lead and never looked back. He went unchallenged for most of the race with the only challenge coming when they got into lap traffic. However Brooks would make quick work of the traffic and continue his dominance of the evening. The feature saw few cautions and 12 of the starting 15 finish the race. Jake Green was the Quicksilver Products Hard Charger of the race coming from 9th to finish 5th and extend his points lead. Cade Brookshire continued his impressive performance for the evening by maintaining second the entire race. Cass Fowler, Spencer Singleton and Jake Green rounded out the top 5. Jacob Parris brought his Capitol machine home 6th after running in the top 4 all night, Parris’s tires didn’t fire on a late race restart costing him his first top 5 of the season with the Red Clay Series.
