Angelicchio Wires Field At Greater Cumberland For Second Series Win
Cumberland, MD. – Dan Angelicchio led all 30 laps of the Summer Sizzler 30 at Greater Cumberland Raceway for his second Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series victory of the season. Angelicchio earned $3,500
Angelicchio jumped out to an early lead setting a torrid pace over the field. On lap 12 Max Blair worked his way around Jared Miley for second. A caution on lap 13 for Darras Deneen who slowed to a stop in turn one.
On the restart, Miley worked his way back on Blair to settle into second, but Angelicchio would pull away from the field over the final 17 laps winning by over 3 seconds.
