8.1.20 Path Valley Speedway Park Results

Rain would cut the action short on Saturday at Path Valley. The thunder cars would be the first and only class to get their feature in with Doug Sales taking a commanding lead early over Nicholas Smith. Sales would lead Smith until lap 16 where Charlie Stallman would pass Smith for 2nd. Smith would continue to fall back through the field and retire from the race. Tragedy would strike again for last year’s track champion as Kevin Bard’s machine would catch on fire retiring him from the race. Sales would go onto win his second feature in a row.

The 600cc micros were scheduled to take the track following the thunder cars, but a steady rain would fall and end the night early. All rained out features will be made up at later dates, which can be found on the website.

Path Valley Speedway returns to action with a double header weekend kicking off Friday night with the USAC Midget touring series along side the Wingless Super Sportsman, and 600cc micro speedway. Saturday night will feature the Roy & Margaret McGee Memorial with the Wingless Super Sportsman, Limited Late Models, 270cc & 600cc micros, 4 Cylinder Thunder Cars, and 4 Cylinder Strictly Stocks.
