Ben Watkins Scores Carolina Clash Victory At Carolina Speedway

Gastonia, North Carolina (8/11/23) – The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to “The Carolina’s Action Track” Carolina Speedway located in Gastonia, North Carolina on Friday August 11th for the annual Shrine 100 event paying $4,000 to win.

After starting second Ben Watkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina was able to hold off Carolina Clash competitors Friday at Carolina Speedway to score his tenth career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series worth $4,000. Jeff Smith, Adam Yabrough, Corey Gordon, and Gray Parton rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Jordan Koehler with a time of 15.817 seconds. The hard Charger of the event was Richard Kuiken (Started 11th / Finished 7th).
