In the 25-lap Subway of Downtown Clearfield Super Late Models there were three different leaders before Saxonburg’s Alex Ferree came out on top of the 17 car field. Ferree won $2000 for his winning effort. Polesitter Denny Fenton took off at the start and led the first ten lap. Jon Lee powered by to lead lap eleven. Lee, Ferree and Fenton put on a three car show for the fans. They went after each other lap after lap until Ferree went low and made the pass for the lead on lap 17. Clint Hersh looked to be well on his way to victory in the 20-lap 358 Limited Late Model paying $1000 to win. Hersh, at one point, had a straightaway lead. Hersh’s luck changed when the yellow flew on lap twelve. The green flew and Hersh took off with seventh starting Just Kann in his rearview mirror. Ebensburg’s Ashton Daughenbaugh survived a wild one in the 15-lap Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinder feature that saw two roll overs. Daughenbaugh took home his biggest win worth $400. Tyler Laughard was the initial leader until he broke a tie rod on lap four sending him over the banking. Daughenbaugh inherited the lead but on the restart he left the outside lane open and Adam Pletcher raced past for the lead. Pletcher’s lead didn’t last as he slowed the following lap once again putting Daughenbaugh back out front. Daughenbaugh led the final ten laps for his fourth win this season.
