Elkin, North Carolina (8/19/17) – Chris Ferguson of Mt. Holly, North Carolina held off Dennis Franklin to take home the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series victory Saturday at Friendship Motor Speedway worth $4,000. This marked Ferguson’s second victory with the tour this season and his fifth tenth career win with the Carolina Clash. Dennis Franklin, Zack Mitchell, Johnny Pursley, and Michael Brown rounded out the top finishers. Chris Ferguson set fast time in qualifying with a time of 15.566 seconds.
