LAVONIA, GA – The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to Lavonia Speedway located in Lavonia, Georgia on Friday August 30th for the “Buck Simmons Memorial” paying $4,141 to win.
Current Ultimate Super Late Model Series points leader and defending Ultimate Southeast Champion Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina led all 41 laps Friday to score the victory in the annual “Buck Simmons Memorial” Ultimate Southeast event at Lavonia. Mitchell finished 2.411 seconds ahead of Ross Bailes. Ross Bailes, Trent Ivey, Kenny Collins, and John Henderson rounded out the top five finishers. Setting a new track record Ross Bailes set fast time qualifying with a time of 14.990 seconds to earn the Davis Diesel Service Fast Qualifier award.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Southeast Region will be back in action again on August 31st as the Series will travel to Lancaster Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina for a $4,000 to win event.
