8.31.18 Comp Cams Late Models Results

Paragould, Arkansas (08/31/18) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS)presented by Lucas Oil kicked off their triple header weekend on Friday night with the Keg Towing Labor Day Classic 41 at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas).

With $4,000 on the line home former CCSDS Champion Billy Moyer Jr. streaked to his first tour win of 2018. Moyer Jr. snagged the lead from his New Vision Graphics Pole Position and went on to register the 17th CCSDS win of his career.

Jack Sullivan and Kyle Beard battled for the second position throughout the race’s early stages before Sullivan spun from contention. He received the Henryetta Ford Hard Luck Award for his misfortune.

Charlie Cole, Kyle Beard, Dane Dacus, and Hunter Rasdon completed the Top-5 finishers.

Charlie Cole was the recipient of the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award after advancing from his sixth-starting spot to a career-best runner-up finish with the CCSDS.
