9.1.18 Carolina Clash Late Models Results

Lancaster, South Carolina (9/1/18) – The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series made their return to “The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South” Lancaster Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina on Saturday September 1st. 23 Carolina Clash competitors signed into Saturdays event all chasing a $4,000 payday.

In a dominating performance Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina led flag to flag at Lancaster Speedway to score his second victory this season with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series along with his seventh all time victory with the tour. Current Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series points leader Ross Bailes crossed the finish line in second with Jeff Smith, Michael Brown, and Jonathan Edwards who rounded out the top five finishers. The Parks Heating & Cooling fast qualifier was Zack Mitchell with a time of 19.114 seconds. The Speed51.com hard charger of the race was Jeff Smith who Started 9th and finished 3rd. Rookie contender Adam Yarbrough was the Carquest / Clarendon highest ROY finisher.
