9.1.19 FASTRAK Racing Series Results
MIDDLEBOURNE, WV – The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance traveled to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia on Sunday September 1st for Race #3 and the final event of the Fastrak 5th Annual East Coast Rumble paying $2,000 to win.
Brent Trimble of Morganton, West Virginia swept Tyler County and earned the victory Sunday with the Fastrak Racing Series to take home Race #3 of the Fastrak 5th Annual East Coast Rumble paying $2,000. The victory was Trimbles second win of the weekend with the Fastrak Tour. Carson Ferguson, Michael Duritsky, Logan Roberson, and Donnie Dotson rounded out the top five finishers. Logan Roberson set fast time in qualifying with a time of 13.560 seconds. Heat race winners included Brent Trimble, Carson Ferguson, Kyle Thomas, and Tyler Riggs.
Current Fastrak Racing Series Touring points leader Carson Ferguson of Charlotte, North Carolina was crowned the Fastrak Racing Series 2019 East Coast Rumble Champion after the three events. Ferguson took the victory in Race #1 at Princeton while finishing fifteenth in Race #2 at Tyler County, and completing the weekend with a second place finish in Race #3 at Tyler County.
The FASTRAK Racing Series will return to action on September 13th and 14th as the FASTRAK Tour returns to Virginia Motor Speedway located in Jamaica, Virginia for the 16th Annual World Championship paying $50,000 to win. The event will be the richest Chevrolet Performance Late Model race in history.
