9.13.19 Hagerstown Speedway Results

HAGERSTOWN, MD – Kevin Imes returned from McAlisterville, Pennsylvania for the rescheduled Eric Johnson Memorial for Hobby Stocks and left Hagerstown Speedway with the $1,001 victory for his first career win at Hagerstown.
Imes held off Brady Daniels over the remaining 13 laps that were left to go when rains came forcing a postponement from June 29 to September 13.
Kevin Thomas finished third, followed by Mike Fuller and Jason Sarver.
Notes – 30 Late Model Sportsman, 25 Pure Stocks, and 34 Hobby Stocks entered the 13th-annual SCN.
Jeremy Tinsman shattered the Pure Stock track record previously set by Bob Gutshall in 2010 with a lap of 22.165 seconds, besting Gutshall’s 22.728. Dillon Wilson, Jonathan DeHaven, Dwayne Snyder, and Mike Desch also turned laps quicker than the previous record.
Derick Quade just nipped past the Late Model Sportsman track record formerly held by Bruce Kane, beating the 19.285 best also set in 2010 with a lap time of 19.280 seconds.
