Zack Mitchell Scores Carolina Clash Victory At Laurens County Speedway
Laurens, South Carolina (9/14/21) – The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to “The Darlington of Dirt” Laurens County Speedway located in Laurens, South Carolina on Tuesday September 14th for “40th Annual Laurens County Shrine Race” benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children paying 4,000 to win. The event was 40 laps. Proceeds from the event went to the Greenville Shriners Hospital for Children.
2017 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series Champion Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina took the lead on the opening lap of the event Tuesday at Laurens County Speedway to lead flag to flag and score his twelfth career Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series victory. Trent Ivey, Michael Brown, Payton Freeman, and Adam Yarbrough rounded out the top five finishers. The Ponce Realty Group presented by Nick Whitesides fast qualifier of the event was Payton Freeman with a time of 13.862 seconds. The Xtreme Custom Trophies Hard Charger of the event was Jeff Smith (Started 11th / Finished 6th).
