9.19.20 Ultimate Super Late Models Northeast Region Results
Montgomery Takes Queen City 50 By Storm For Greater Cumberland Victory
Cumberland, MD – Ryan Montgomery Of Fairmont, W.Va., picked up his second career Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series victory in the Queen City 50 at Greater Cumberland Raceway. The victory was Montgomery’s second career series victory with his first coming in this event last season.
Montgomery beat fellow front row starter Mike Lupfer into turn one on the start and would lead all 30 laps of the feature.
On lap 19 series points leader Drake Troutman and second place runner Jared Miley slowed with mechanical issues for Miley and a flat tire for Troutman. Both would rejoin the field with Miley making it back up to 9th and Troutman 12th setting up a dual for the championship tomorrow at Roaring Knob.
