9.8.23 ASCS Northern Plains Sprints Results

Bryan Hulbert – CASPER, Wyo. (September 8, 2023) Kicking off the final weekend of the 2023 season for the ASCS Northern Plains Region at Casper Speedway on Friday night, D.J. Brink captured the preliminary night victory.

Tying Adam Speckman for the leading series winner, the South Dakota shoe advanced six positions over the 20-lap feature to garner his fourth career series victory. Colorado’s Bryan Gossel crossed second, with Adam Speckman, who Brink tied for the most wins, finishing third. Austyn Gossel and series point’s leader, Shad Petersen, made up the top five.

Going into the final night, Austyn closed the gap on Petersen from 74 to 69 points. Saturday’s finale is at Casper Speedway, and goes green at 7:00 P.M. (MDT).
