LAMB SCORCHES FIELD AT SHENANDOAH

Shenandoah, Virginia (September 9, 2023)………Chris Lamb was heating up. Now, he’s officially scorching.

The Colfax, N.C. native earned his all-time leading 61st career USAC Eastern Focus Midget victory on Saturday night at Virginia’s Shenandoah Speedway.

The three-time series champion has now won two-in-a-row and four of his last six with the series in his Radical Racing machine on the pavement.

In his latest performance, Lamb overtook Dillon Thomas (Clover, S.C.) on the third lap and proceeded to lead the final 28 circuits. Fast qualifier and points leader J.T. Bierman (Bath, Pa.) finished as the distant runner-up, 2.334 seconds behind Lamb.

Reigning series champion Hunter Wise (Allentown, Pa.) notched a third with Logan Sulyi (Raleigh, N.C.) fourth, Thomas fifth and John Gauge Kimler (Greensboro, N.C.) sixth.
