6.17.18 NCRA Mod Lites Results

Park City, Kansas – June 17, 2018 – Three-time and defending tour champion Justin Kinderknecht took the at the start and went and went on to claim the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products mod lite “Bill Hall Memorial/Father’s Day Special” Sunday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.
Randy Bryan of Ames, Iowa and Elliott May of Lyons, Kansas started on the front row for the fifteen-lap-feature, but it was fifth-starting Kinderknecht taking the lead as the green flag fell.
Kinderknecht held the point until the red flag fell on lap five when May spun and came to a stop on the backstretch. Bryan Ward had nowhere to go and his May, briefly knocking him unconscious. May would come to and would be shaken but otherwise, both drivers uninjured.
The final restart it was all Kinderknecht as he would go the rest of the way to claim his third feature victory of the season in three starts. Bryan held on for second while eleventh-starting Trace Ayers came home third. Tyler Bradshaw would finish fourth while twelfth-starting Dustin Forsberg rounded out the top five.
Kinderknecht will take a thirty-point lead over Bradshaw into the tours next event atop the small track inside the famed Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, Kansas on Tuesday night, July 3rd.
