It was back to another action packed night at Tennessee’s Action Track.

The 20 lap Classic Car feature was up first. Will Carey would jump out to the early lead over Lee Merritt, Adam Engel, Luke Ellis and Tim Bounds rounding out the top five. The top three didn’t waste any time putting some real estate between themselves and the rest of the field. Merritt was hungry to get that checkered flag again as he worked the low line under his teammate in the first half of the race. Trouble for the #59 of Mark Sise who went for a spin bringing out the caution. Luke Ellis would also get his #17 pointed in the wrong direction a couple laps later bringing out the caution as well. Merritt was working the low line and going into turn two he would dive in deep under Carey and loop his #14 machine around ending his chance at victory. Carey would hold off the late charge from Adam Engel to pick up another win and keep his Championship hopes alive.

1: #16 Will Carey
2: #51 Adam Engel
3: #17 Luke Ellis
4: #14 Lee Merritt
5: #59 Mark Sise
6: #11 Tim Bounds
DNS: #16 Shaum Sise

Next up was the 20 lap Sportsman feature. Brandon Miller had won the last two races but wasn’t on hand tonight and that opened up the door for a new winner. Season point leader Clyde Stanton put his #C11 out front on the start with Brad Seagle, Hunter Kerr, Brandon James and Josh Beal in chase. Trouble would find the #51 of Beal early on as heavy smoke trailed his machine in the opening laps. He’d have to pull off and retire for the night. We hadn’t seen James in his #J1 this season but he was set on go as he tried to get the third spot away from Kerr. The top two had pulled off to a huge lead and looked to settle it among themselves until a scary moment for Seagle. brought out the caution. His #31 would go up in a huge fireball in turn three. Emergency crews were on site quickly and he was uninjured but done for the night. After that it was an easy cruise for the #C11 as Stanton picked up the win.

1: #C11 Clyde Stanton
2: #40 Hunter Kerr
3: #J1 Brandon James
4: #31 Brad Seagle
5: #51 Josh Beal

The Crate Late Model division has been a family affair the last few weeks and tonight would be no different as the Sise Brothers would once again start on the front row for the feature. Trevor Sise would take the lead on the start ahead of Zach Sise, Bradley Lewelling, Brad Lowe and Bradley Strong. Zach Sise wasn’t cutting his brother any slack as he worked the very bottom trying to get the lead. Lowe and Strong had their own battle for the fourth spot early on. The top two quickly pulled away from the pack but the battle was intense as Lowe was finding his line and closing in on Lewelling for the third spot. The field had gotten pretty stretched out except for the third place battle. Lowe would eventually get the position in the final laps. Up front it was all Trevor Sise who pulled away to a huge lead.

1: #73 Trevor Sise
2: #9 Zach Sise
3: #16 Brad Lowe
4: #10B Bradley Lewelling
5: #24 Barry Goodman
6: #08 Bradley Strong

Next up was the 20 lap Open Wheel Modified feature. Jeff Hamby would earn the pole for the feature by setting fast time earlier in the day in qualifying. However it would be outside pole sitter Blake Brown who would put his #99 on point as the green waved with Hamby, Wayne James, Dustin Diden and season point leader Jimmy Dalton giving chase on the start. It was a quick exit for Rick Standridge and Scott Lacy who pulled off track. Jamie Mosley had a strong car as he battled it out with Dalton for a spot in the back half of the top five as the early laps ticked away. Hamby wasn’t gonna give up as he had found something on the very bottom of the track showing his nose to the leader several times. The leaders found themselves working through slower traffic as they fought it out. Hamby took a big dive on the inside going into turn one but had to check up to stay off Brown. That would end up being his only shot at the leader as Brown would inch away in the final laps to pick up the win in a fantastic race.

1: #99 Blake Brown
2: #15 Jeff Hamby
3: #4 Wayne James
4: #112 Dustin Diden
5: #2D Jimmy Dalton
6: #89 Jamie Mosley

8: #271 Chad Crain
9: #10 Rick Standridge
10: #2 Scott Lacy

The final race of the night would be the 20 lap Front Wheel Drive feature. A strong field of drivers were on hand to do battle for the $400. Jacob Sharp would take the lead as the field went into turn one with point leader Nathan Adams, Kevin Sexton, Nick Adams and Steve Miller in pursuit. The first half dozen put some distance on the Teefteelers who had their own battle just behind them. Lap traffic would come into play as the top three were setting a fast pace. Trouble for the #9 of Sexton who had a great run going but came to a stop on the front ending his night. Dustin Duncan in his new car also had a top five run going but had to pull off with mechanical issues. Nick and Nathan Adams had a fantastic battle for the runner up spot as they ran bumper to bumper for multiple laps. Nathan Adams was eventually able to get the second spot back but ran out of time to catch the leader.
