Chris Ferguson Scores “Independence Shootout” Ultimate Southeast Victory At Cherokee Speedway
Gaffney, South Carolina – The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region returned to “The Place Your Mama Warned You About” Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday July 4th for the “Independence Shootout” paying $5,000 to win. 21 Ultimate Southeast Competitors signed into Saturdays 50 lap show.
Chris Ferguson of Mount Holly, North Carolina held off Ross Bailes to score the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory Saturday at Cherokee Speedway. Ross Bailes, Dennis Franklin, John Henderson, and Trent Ivey rounded out the top five finishers. The Davis Diesel Service fast qualifier was Dennis Franklin with a time of 15.344 seconds.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for Saturday July 25th at Modoc Raceway located in Modoc, South Carolina for the annual “Jack Starrette Memorial” paying $5,022 to win.
