It was a picture perfect day as Tennessee’s Action Track roared back into life with a special Monday Labor Day edition of racing.
The Classic Cars would start us off with a 20 lap feature. Shaun Sise has been the man at the 4-1-1 in 2021 and would once again start on the front row. The green waved and Sise set sail ahead of Mark Sise, the returning Will Carey, Baily Cardwell who was making his debut in the Classic Cars and Jesse Hickman rounding out the top five. Cardwell seemed to have picked up the Classic Car quickly as he turned up the heat on Carey for the third spot in the opening laps. The top two began to pull away from the pack until a late caution erased their lead. The #5 of Jack Kress and the #3 of Jimmy Rayhuff got together on the exit of turn four. Kress slammed hard into the wall and was done for the night. The #3 of Rayhuff was parked by race director for intentionally causing the accident. It was Sise vs Sise the final laps as Mark Sise would inch out Shaun Sise at the line for his first career win at 411.

Next up was the 20 lap Sportsman feature. A strong field of drivers were on hand to do battle. The yellow flag would be frequent in the beginning as the #72 of Billy Woods would tag the wall in the opening lap. The #122 of Jeremy Shannon would have mechanical issues under the caution and would have to be pushed off track ending his night. Finally under green and it was Addison Cardwell out front ahead of Heath Alvey, Adam Mitchell, Hayden Cardwell and Jonathan Ingram. Alvey would throw a huge slider coming off turn four to take the lead but Cardwell would cross him back over to get it back. A big power move on the inside by Adam Mitchell took the second spot away moving Alvey back to third. Mitchell had to hit his marks as he had Hayden Cardwell knocking on his door for the runner up spot. Colt Deverell didn’t have the best qualifying time but was on a mission as he moved up into the top four. Addison Cardwell would pull away in the closing laps to pick up another win.

Next up was the 40 lap $2,000 to win 604 feature. Bradley Lewelling would lead us to green ahead of Josh Henry, Rusty Ballenger and Mack McCarter. Pierce McCarter had been fighting mechanical gremlins and they’d bite him again as he slowed on the opening lap and pulled infield. Josh Henry had clearly hit his setup perfectly as he would power into the lead on lap five. Trouble for the #2 of Terry Poore who was still dealing with mechanical issues from hot laps as he pulled off track early. The #4 of Michael Smith and the #32 of Tyler Smith would also retire short of the finish. Trevor Sise had worked his way into the third spot as Lewelling had started to fall back through the top five. The top three put some distance on Mack McCarter who held down the fourth spot. Rusty Ballenger now third had reeled in the #73 of Sise for the runner up spot. Out front it was all Josh Henry who cruised to his first win at 411 in 2021.

Sise would put his #9 on top of the board with Jesse Lowe, and Tucker Anderson giving chase. Trouble for the #4 of Robert Koons who went for a spin in turn two bringing out the caution. It would be a tough night for Koons as he would bring out another caution and that would be the end of his night. On the restart, the #8 of Blake Wright and the #85 of Lee Branch got tangled up. Branch would have heavy front end damage and be done for the night. The #95 of Cory Bettis was on a drive as he passed both Curtis Thomas and Jesse Lowe moving himself into the second spot.
