Banjo Duke Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Sumter Speedway

Sumter, South Carolina – The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to the “Toughest Lil Dirt Track In The South” Sumter Speedway located in Sumter, South Carolina on Saturday July 31st for a 40 lap event paying $5,000 to win.

Banjo Duke of Manning, South Carolina led flag to flag Saturday at Sumter Speedway to score his first career Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory. Corey Gordon, Michael Brown, Derrick Ramey, and Cla Knight rounded out the top five finishers. The Davis Diesel Service fast qualifier was Banjo Duke with a time of 14.713 seconds.

The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for August 7th at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway located in Jamaica, Virginia for the annual “USA 100” event paying $20,000 to win.
