8.24.22 All Star Sprints Results

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (August 24, 2022) – Justin Peck and Buch Motorsports have certainly found their stride, and although it took the team just over two months to up their victory count from four to five, solidifying one for the thumb at Utica-Rome Speedway on Saturday, August 20, it took just one more race night to up their Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 win tally to six, earning a $6,000 score at Bloomsburg Fair Raceway in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

A perfect momentum kick for the remainder of the Tri-State Summer Swing presented by Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts, Peck’s Bloomsburg triumph was a first-ever, adding to Peck’s impressive stretch of 11 career All Star wins at 11 different tracks.

Peck, ace of the Coastal Race Parts No. 13 sprint car, started from the pole position on Wednesday evening and never looked back, battling through multiple waves of heavy traffic while fending off defending All Star champion and current Series point leader, Tyler Courtney. “Sunshine” did his best to close in on Peck in the last three circuits, but Peck’s decision to power by a lapped car with less than two to go sealed his winning fate, putting a comfortable distance between himself and the familiar No. 7BC.

Courtney hung on to finish second, followed by Anthony Macri, the most recent sub to fill the seat for Sam McGhee Motorsports’ Parker Price-Miller, Danny Dietrich, and Kyle Reinhardt.

“Tonight’s track really fits my style…cowboy up with some rough spots,” Peck said, who is currently second in the All Star driver standings. “I wasn’t very happy with the car following the heat race. I came back in and I’m pretty sure the guys changed all four shocks. We got ourselves dialed back in pretty quick. We have a pretty good package for tracks like this.

“This is what we are here to do…we’re here to win races,” Peck added. “If we keep winning races, the points just kinda take care of themselves.”

Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, New Jersey, hosting the first and only New Jersey stop for the All Stars in 2022 worth $12,000-to-win, will welcome the Series on Thursday, August 25.

Once action in New Jersey concludes, the All Star Circuit of Champions will turn their attention back to the Keystone State, ready to conclude their Tri-State Summer Swing with stops at Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and Bedford Speedway on Friday through Sunday, August 26-28.

In what is expected to be a hard-fought tango with the Pennsylvania Posse, the All Stars will fight for a total winner’s share equaling $21,300 in the Pennsylvania trio, all of which kicking-off with Williams Grove’s annual Jack Gunn Memorial. The Jack Gunn will feature two, full 20-lap main events awarding $4,000 each.

Lincoln Speedway’s annual Kramer Klash, honoring National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Kramer Williamson, will pay $7,300-to-win, followed by a $6,000 showdown at the historic Bedford Fairgrounds.
