Over 100 cars were on hand for a very special Labor Day edition of racing at the 4-1-1.
The Classic Cars would start off the nights racing program. Lee Merritt in a new ride and Shaun Sise would lead us to green on the front row for the 20 lap feature. The green waved and it was a drag race with the top two battling it out to see who could get the early advantage. Mac Lockhart and Will Carey had their own great battle for the fourth position in the opening laps. Merritt would get a big run off turn four and cleared Sise to get the lead. Trouble for the #11J of Christian Runyon who pulled off track early with problems. Sise hadn’t let Merritt get away as he kept his #16 in the tire tracks of the multiple time 411 Classic Car Champion. The caution would wave again for the #18 of Chris Worsham as he got loose in turn two collecting Tim Bounds. The race to the finish was a short one that saw Merritt inch away to pick up the win.

The green waved and Brooks set sail ahead of Cardwell, Eli Beets, Josh Driskill and Hayden Cardwell. Ryan Watson was looking to move up through the field as he turned up the heat on Atkins for the fifth spot. The two would get together with Watson going for a spin in turn four bringing out the caution. The strong run for Freels would come to an end as he slowed from the third spot off the exit of turn four.
