RACE NIGHT RECAP

Saturday night was one of the toughest nights many of us witnessed. 2 rescuers, a driver, and a track official all sustained burns following a rollover in Limited Late Model hotlaps. The driver, Ricky Smith, as well as the 3 other individuals involved are all fine, and for that, we’re thankful. Unfortunately, with the incidents that took place, all heat races were canceled, but everyone understood why. Once we got to feature racing action, it didn’t disappoint. In Classic, Cameron Skinner took the win. In Mini Stock, it was Tommy Metler. Street Stock was next where Darrin Busler took the win. In Modified action, Johnny Ridings came from 6th to take the win. Thunder & Lightning was next where Rocky Ogle took the win, and rounding out the night was Josh Collins taking home the Limited Late Model win.

We give thanks to the rescue workers, track officials, and Jason Cardwell who all played a part in saving Ricky Smith’s life. We wish Smith all the best moving forward! Join us this Saturday night for a great night of racing in all divisions except Classic. For more information, simply head on over to “The 4-1-1” tab!
