Tennessee’s Action Track hosted the Spring Sizzler Super Late Model Race that saw Jimmy Owens of Newport leading all 40 laps. Owens started on the outside pole by got past pole sitter Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Georgia by the time they reached the flagstand. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the grandstands and concession areas were closed. Dirt on Dirt broadcast the event live to thousands across the country. The 22 car field was set by all 35 entries racing through 2 groups of time trials, fast car dash and four 10 lap heat races.
