RACE NIGHT RECAP
Another great night of racing action is in the books at 411 Motor Speedway. It was a great night of excitement, but also a supportive night for a family close to the speedway. Drivers walked the grandstands during intermission to raise money to go toward the Buster Cardwell Memorial Fund, who passed away on Wednesday after a lengthy illness. First on the track was Street Stock, where Dwayne Fox took the win, but tech is still on-going, with results coming early next week. Next was Topless Modified, where Eric Hux was the winner. In Classic, it was Logan Dukes winning. In Thunder & Lightning, they would have issues getting going, then Wendell Williams would barrel-roll into turn 3. Robbie Comer was the winner after their 5-lap feature due to time limit expiring. Next was Mini Stock with Rocky McNabb taking the checkers, and finally, closing the night was Limited Late Model, where Cory Hedgecock would take the win.
Join us this Saturday night as the cars and stars of the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Touring Division takes the spotlight in the 2nd Annual J.T. Kerr Memorial paying a cool $4,000 to the winner. Admission prices will be $15 for Grandstands ages 12+, 6-11 is $5, and 5 & under free. Tier parking is $20 per person for ALL ages. Pits adults $35. All gates open at 2:00p ET with the drivers meeting at 6:00p ET, with hotlaps firing off around 6:15p ET.
