4.20.18 MOWA Sprints Results

After two unsuccessful events to start the 2018 season, Mother Nature finally decided that she wanted to see some racing… 25 MOWA Sprints signed into Jacksonville Speedway for the opening event of the 2018 Campaign.
A late race yellow flag which saw Jordan Goldesberry stopped right past the start-finish line set up a one lap, Green-White-Checkered shootout. Prior to the caution, Columbus, Indiana’s Tony Stewart had shown that he was the class of the field, but it wasn’t over yet. As the green fell back on the field, Scotty Thiel knew that he had once change to make a move on Stewart. Thiel then made his move, powering past Stewart as the White Flag was thrown over competition. Thiel held on to win the first event of 2018 for the Built Ford Tough MOWA Sprints Delivered by Morrow Brothers, Inc. Stewart, Joey Moughan, Patton, Blackhurst, Marvel, Jamison, Bunton, Terry Jr, Barks rounded out the top 10. See FULL results below.
