With rain showers all around on Friday, Mother Nature smiled on Tri-County Race Track and the event on August 6 went off without a hitch! Daniel Wilson was victorious in the Limited/Crate Late Model division at the Brasstown, North Carolina oval, as he bested a top five that included Jason Deal, Danny Ledford, Randy Dillard, and Ricky Smith. Other winners on the evening included Bobby Elkins (Interstate Welding Modified Street), Lynn Burchfield (Street Stock), Dylan Beaver (Beginner Class), Marty King (Pony), and Shannon Jones (Front Wheel Drive). Next up at Tri-County Race Track will be the annual “Back to School Nickel Night” on Friday, August 20 featuring Super Late Models paying $1,500 to win and the Street Stock Championship shelling out $800 to the winner!!!
