9.19.20 Sooner Late Model Series Results
by John Rittenoure – WICHITA FALLS, Texas (September 19, 2020) – Kip Hughes returned to the winner’s circle Saturday at Monarch Motor Speedway.
Following three weeks of mechanical issues, Hughes was back to his winning ways finishing first for the fourth time this season to get his points lead safely intact.
Wayne Bush led early until a yellow flag early in the race. Hughes worked his way to the front and took over from that point and went the distance. 18-year old Hayden Ross gave chase and settled for second. Eric Brill registered his best finish of the season crossing the line in third over Eddie Tidwell and Nate Jantz.
